I was tired of everything draining my time.  Meetings, grading, making copies, emails, phone calls…there was never enough time.  I scoured the internet for NO PREP resources for what I needed.  Nothing!  I scoured numerous curriculum guides.  Nothing!  I could never find materials that were challenging enough for my students.  My students deserved more.  My GT students deserved more.  

Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create the resources I needed.  That my students needed.  I took all of the best practices and curriculum standards and combined them into one-of-a-kind resources!  I found that students were EXCITED about reading, writing, and research because of how I changed the game.  I’ve taken my travel experiences from around the world and created engaging stories that lead to stronger readers, writers, and researchers!  Forget boring, generic reading passages…throw those out the window!  These resources allow students to learn about new places, cultures, and experiences.  

This new way of teaching has TRANSFORMED my classroom.  Now my students look forward to a reading passage, writing activity, and best of all…they love to do research.  I’ve put a spin on doing research and I’m excited to show you how to do it, too!  Remember what I said about time?  Well, now all I do is hit print, add my copies to my daily organizer, and smile as I leave for the day.  On-time.  No more staying late.  Boundaries!
